Signing in, passwords and your account

You sign in to Rendro with your email and a password. A new company workspace needs a work email; someone joining a teammate's workspace from an invite can use any address. Passwords need at least 12 characters, and very common words are refused. A short phrase of four or more words works well.

  • No confirmation email? Check spam first. If you try to log in before confirming, the login page offers Send the confirmation email again.
  • Forgot your password? On the login page, choose Forgot password? and we email you a link. Open it in the same browser and set the new password within 15 minutes. Anyone else signed in as you is signed out.
  • Too many wrong attempts? Sign-in pauses for that email for a few minutes. Wait about 15 minutes, or reset your password.
  • Change your password: open the menu with your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Your profile → Password. You'll need your current password, and your other devices are signed out.

Your profile is also where you change your name (how teammates see you) and turn tips and trial emails on or off. To change the email you sign in with, use Contact support in the ? menu.

To leave a workspace, go to Settings → Members and press Leave next to your name. If you're its only owner, make someone else an owner first. Log out from the same menu as Your profile.

Two-factor sign-in (a code from an authenticator app) and single sign-on (SSO) aren't available yet; both are on the roadmap. Today, sign-in is protected by the password rules above, email confirmation and limits on repeated attempts. More on our security page.
