Your numbers stay in your browser. The defaults are assumptions, not measurements: change them to match your team. Some answers will still need more than a quick review, for example where your documents don't cover the question.

How the estimate works

The calculator multiplies the questions you answer each month by the minutes each answer takes, then by what an hour of that person's time costs. The second estimate assumes each answer is drafted for you from your own documents, so the time goes into reading the draft and its source and approving it, instead of searching and writing.

It also picks the cheapest Rendro plan that covers your volume, including extra questionnaires where that works out cheaper than the next plan. Files over 300 questions count once per 300.

What the numbers don't show

Calendar time is usually longer than focused time: waiting for colleagues, chasing the one person who knows how backups work, formatting the file. And some answers will always need real thought, for example where your documents don't cover the question yet. Read how long a security questionnaire takes for ways to cut both, or the step-by-step guide to answering one.
