Terms of Service
Effective October 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between Franklin Lupichuk, a sole proprietor carrying on business as Rendro, in Ontario, Canada (“Rendro”, “we”, “us”), and the organization that creates a Rendro account or uses Rendro (“Customer”, “you”). Please read them carefully.
1. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, subscribing or using Rendro, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization, and you confirm that you have the authority to do so. Rendro is for business use only, not for personal or household use.
2. The service
Rendro helps you answer security questionnaires using your own documents: you upload documents and questionnaires, Rendro drafts answers with their sources, you review them, and you export the completed file.
Plans, prices and limits are described on our pricing page. One questionnaire is one uploaded file of up to 300 questions; larger files count as one questionnaire per 300 questions. Re-drafting or re-exporting the same file doesn’t count again. Scale plan limits are agreed with you in writing.
We improve Rendro continually and may change features. We won’t materially reduce the core features of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for.
3. Trial and Free plan
A new company workspace starts with a 14-day trial of the Team plan, without a payment card, including AI drafting on one questionnaire plus a sample questionnaire. Trials need a work email address, and each company (email domain) gets one trial; other workspaces start on the Free plan. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan (1 editor and 25 AI-drafted answers a month). Nothing is locked or deleted. To keep the service available for everyone, AI drafting on the trial and Free plans has usage limits and may pause until the next month.
To keep Rendro reliable and prevent abuse, we may apply reasonable usage limits, such as daily limits on AI drafting.
4. Accounts and users
You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace, for the roles you give them (owner, admin, editor or reviewer), and for activity in your account. Keep sign-in details secure and tell us promptly at team@rendro.net if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Your content
You own the content you upload and the answers you create (“Customer Content”). You give Rendro a limited right to host, copy, process, transmit and display Customer Content only to provide, secure and support the service for you, including through the service providers listed on our subprocessors page.
You confirm that you have the right to upload Customer Content, including questionnaires you received from third parties, for example under a confidentiality agreement.
Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms and applies to personal information in Customer Content.
We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics that don’t include Customer Content (for example, how many questions are drafted) to operate and improve Rendro.
6. AI-drafted answers
Rendro uses artificial intelligence to draft answers from your own documents. Drafts are suggestions. They may be incomplete or wrong, even when they show a source and a confidence level.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving every answer before you use or submit it, and for the accuracy of what you tell your own customers and prospects. Rendro does not provide legal, compliance, security or audit advice, and does not certify your compliance with any standard.
As between you and Rendro, you own the answers. Other customers may receive similar drafts generated from their own documents.
Rendro does not use Customer Content to train AI models.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, or upload content you don’t have the right to use;
- upload malware, or attack, probe, overload or disrupt Rendro;
- try to access another customer’s data, or get around usage limits or security controls;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell Rendro, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload information Rendro isn’t designed to hold, such as health records, payment card numbers or government identification numbers.
8. Fees and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Applicable sales taxes are added at checkout.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the workspace then moves to the Free plan. Extra questionnaires on the Starter and Team plans cost $49 each, apply to the current billing period and are not refundable.
Refunds: monthly payments are not refunded for partial periods. For a yearly plan, you get a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your first yearly payment.
We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal. If a payment fails and isn’t fixed, the subscription may be cancelled and the workspace moved to the Free plan.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with reasonable care, use it only for the purposes of this agreement, and share it only with people who need it and are bound by confidentiality. Customer Content is your confidential information.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect Customer Content, as described on our security page. We will notify you of a breach affecting your data as set out in the Data Processing Agreement.
11. Intellectual property and feedback
Rendro owns the Rendro software and service. You own Customer Content. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely, without obligation to you.
12. Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide Rendro with reasonable care and skill, and it will perform materially as described. If it doesn’t, tell us: we will fix it, or, if we can’t within a reasonable time, you may cancel and we will refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the period.
Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, Rendro is provided “as is”, without other warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that Rendro will be uninterrupted or error-free, unless a separate signed agreement includes a service level.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, deals or data, even if told they were possible.
Each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to Rendro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.
These limits don’t apply to your obligation to pay fees, or to liability that can’t be limited by law.
14. Indemnities
Rendro will defend you against a third-party claim that the Rendro software infringes that party’s intellectual property rights, and pay the resulting damages or settlement. You will defend Rendro against a third-party claim arising from Customer Content or from your breach of section 7, and pay the resulting damages or settlement. The party being defended must notify the other promptly and let it control the defence. Both indemnities are subject to section 13.
15. Term, suspension and termination
These Terms apply while you have a Rendro account. You can stop using Rendro or delete your workspace at any time (Settings → General).
Either party may end a paid subscription if the other materially breaches these Terms and doesn’t fix the breach within 30 days of notice. We may suspend access immediately if needed to protect Rendro or other customers, for a serious breach of section 7, or for non-payment after notice.
You can export your questionnaires and Answer Library at any time. On request, we delete your workspace’s data within 30 days.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For important changes we will give account owners at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. If you keep using Rendro after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
17. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction. If there is a conflict, a signed order form wins over the Data Processing Agreement, which wins over these Terms on data protection; otherwise these Terms apply.
Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor of Rendro’s business. If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, the Data Processing Agreement and any signed order form are the whole agreement between us.
We send notices to the email address of your workspace owner. Send notices to us at team@rendro.net. We will list your organization as a customer only with your permission.
